Everyone who joins needs to attend a training class. Then you will teach your first class as an “intern” and then be a leader for a class to complete your training. After that you can do as many classes (or as few) as you like.
Do I teach the class by myself? Bruno Ham
No, you don’t have to be an expert. You just need to be familiar with Scratch (ie. know how to get on Scratch and do simple projects) and come to the training. We have lesson plans all made up for the classes, so you will have plenty of help.
How old do I need to be to do this? Bruno Ham
For most classes people need to bring their own laptops (we do have some). It is OK to share a computer, but Scratch is so fun, most people will want their own. Ideally there would be wireless internet at the class (we can help with that too). Oh and bring your imagination.
Where is the class? Bruno Ham
Yes, we are trying to spread Scratch joy and knowledge to as many people as possible. Young or old we want to share Scratch with you (assuming we can arrange a good location and time for the class). Any group which demonstrates financial need may apply.
