About this campaign

Hello, we're L.A. Makerspace and we are helping L.A.'s awesome libraries become places where our communities can also learn science and technology skills. We work with both the L.A. City public library system and the County of L.A. library system -- that's 160 branches and 13 million people -- so, y'know, if you were in the market for a t-shirt and you look good in blue...

We were started by a group of parents who are part of the "Maker" movement -- basically, like DIY, but done in community. We believe we can learn anything together -- And that everyone in L.A. (and beyond) deserves an equal opportunity to learn science and technology skills.
